State Police Find Vermont Driver With Crack, Heroin In New Windsor

NEW WINDSOR, N.Y. – A Vermont man is facing several drug charges after being found with crack and heroin during a routine traffic stop on Tuesday morning.

Troopers pulled over Andrew Holden, 26, for an equipment violation and found the drugs during a probable cause search of the car, police said. 

Holden was charged with:

  • Felony criminal possession of a controlled substance
  • Misdemeanor criminal possession of a controlled substance
  • Possession of a hypodermic instrument

Holden was arraigned in Newburgh. No other court dates have been set, police said.
